It’s not a method I’d recommend because it is so scattershot, but it does work for me (apparently Cormac McCarthy writes this way, too). However, I do eventually narrow my focus on one project as soon as it’s more than halfway done.

There’s nothing wrong with one book at a time, though. I realise that my method is certainly not the norm.
